Been coming to Belmar for 27 years, like our 2nd home. The lodge is not the Taj Mahal but clean and people are great.
My daughter and I have been staying here for the last 4-5 years when we go to 6 Flags Great Adventure. It's about 15 minutes away but only a few blocks to the ocean,and the Marina is right across the street. We love it here,walking distance to the best food in NJ, and plenty of shops to keep us busy. The lodge has always been clean along with the pool which we enjoy every day.Also the friendliest staff I have encountered anywhere.Highly recommend Belmar Motor Lodge if you are looking for a place to stay at a very reasonable rate in the nicest Township location. Can't wait to go here again!!!

Room was nice and big. Lots of channels on tv. Relatively clean. Even when the microwave in the main lobby broke, the hotel clerk was nice enough to offer to hear our food up for us. Great service and staff!
