Great little place! It's very casual and laid back so it's okay that it doesn't feel high end. The atmosphere is great and you can walk in there in flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt and be right at home. Them food is nothing spectacular but it tastes good and it's inexpensive.
I had a ground beef soft taco special that wasn't so special. Tacos were bland and the "hot" salsa had no heat whatsoever. I would have been better off at a Taco Bell.
GREAT food... very imaginative menu.... everything comes together extremely well... would come back door the pleasant staff alone... but the food is top shelf.... best available.... PERIOD...
Extremely friendly helpful staff I'm not a big fan of this type of food. I got a fish burrito and basically the only thing I could taste was the beans. I know a lot of people really Rave about the Surf Taco nothing really wrong with it but just not my thing.
On the plus side, chips were crispy which brought thus up to 2 stars.
Addendum: This place has really gone down hill as of late. The staff members are rude. The food is nowhere near as fresh (and you can taste it). It is always filthy now. I think this may be our last visit.
Surf taco is the greatest taco place of all time and if you go there I suggest you get the steak taco with only steak and cheese
